Isn't this much more expensive than buying tickets?
If your group is under 13 people, individual tickets are cheaper. A charter suits groups who want to control their own schedule, skip waiting for a full boat, and stop at inner-zone islands freely at no extra cost.
What if I pay the deposit and get scammed?
Only a 30% deposit is required — the rest is paid on the travel day. Baanpun Travel (TAT license 41/00445) is a real, registered operator based in Satun.
What happens in bad weather?
Our team will confirm the reschedule/refund policy before your booking is confirmed — trips cancelled by official notice are treated as force majeure.
The 47-seat boat for only 15 people — won't it feel empty?
That's a plus — more room to relax, store luggage, and extra comfort for children or elderly travelers.
Is food included?
No — you can add an upgraded meal box in the trip builder, or mention it in your notes and our team can arrange it for an extra charge.
Can I book for just 2 people?
You can request a quote here for any group size, but it's not recommended since it costs much more than individual seat tickets. The trip builder accepts groups of 13 or more only.
Can we visit islands outside the included zone?
Yes — outer-zone islands carry an extra boat fee based on boat size. Pick the stops you want in the trip builder and the full price is calculated for you on the spot.
Can we go during the rainy season?
Charters don't run from 16 May to 15 Oct (Andaman monsoon season), so those dates can't be booked. Any date outside that window is fine.
Is the price shown the final amount?
It excludes 7% VAT and the Tarutao National Park fee paid at the checkpoint — our team confirms the final amount before taking a deposit.
