We currently accept bank transfer to our Krung Thai account. After booking, you will receive the account details and have several hours to complete the transfer. Credit card and PromptPay are planned for a future update.
The payment deadline is shown on your booking confirmation page. Normally this is 5 hours, or 20 minutes for last-minute bookings (within 3 hours of departure). If payment is not received by the deadline, the booking expires automatically and the seat is released.
We reserve a limited number of seats for online booking per trip. Once that online quota is sold out, the trip shows as closed on the website — even if seats are still available at the pier. You can still purchase tickets in person at Pak Bara Pier.
Online booking is paused during New Year (30 December–4 January) and Songkran (13–15 April). Boats run as usual — we only close the online sales channel during these peak periods. Contact us directly via chat or phone to book during festival dates.
You can book trips up to 31 December 2027. Schedules for dates beyond that have not been published yet. New dates are added regularly — check back or message us if your travel date is not yet available.
Visit the booking tracking page and enter the email address or phone number you used when booking. You will see your booking code, trip details, and payment status. If you have trouble finding your booking, message us and we will look it up for you.
Present the QR code from your booking confirmation at the pier counter to receive your boarding pass. There is a separate check-in for outbound and return trips — keep your booking code handy for both. Arrive early to allow time for ticket exchange.
More than 7 days before departure: 100% refund, minus a 5–7% transaction fee. Between 3 and 7 days (72–168 hours) before departure: choose either a 50% cash refund or a 100% travel credit voucher valid for 1 year. Less than 72 hours before departure or no-show: non-refundable. These terms apply in all cases — see the full Terms of Service for details.
Shared van: 300 THB per person. Private car: 1,800 THB per car (up to 4 passengers). Private van: 2,200 THB per van (up to 11 passengers). Luxury van (Alphard): 8,000 THB per van (up to 8 passengers). Shared and private options can be added during booking.
We offer transfers from Hat Yai (airport, city centre, and train station) and Trang Airport to Pak Bara Pier, and the return journey as well. The drive takes approximately 1.5–2 hours depending on traffic and pickup point.
If your group exceeds the capacity of one vehicle, you can add more vehicles using the quantity stepper on the booking page. For example, a group of 8 booking a private car (4 seats each) would select 2 cars. The price adjusts automatically.
The main route is: fly, take a train, or bus to Hat Yai or Trang, then a transfer to Pak Bara Pier (about 1.5–2 hours), followed by a speedboat to Koh Lipe (about 1.5–2 hours). You can book the transfer and speedboat together on LipeGo. From November to April there are also direct speedboats from Langkawi and Koh Lanta.
High season runs roughly November to April, with the best weather and most daily boat departures. The monsoon season is May to October — boats still run but with fewer daily trips, and cancellations due to rough seas become more common from August through October. Tarutao National Park is closed 16 May–15 October annually (Koh Lipe itself remains accessible; boat services continue throughout this period).
Yes — Tarutao National Park charges an entry fee payable in cash at the pier on arrival. This fee is not included in your ticket price and is collected by park officials, not by LipeGo. Keep your receipt — it is valid for about 5 days and covers entry to other islands within the national park. The fee amount is set by the Department of National Parks and may change without notice.
Operators on this route recommend arriving 30–45 minutes before departure. You will need to exchange your booking confirmation for a physical boarding pass at the pier counter. During peak season or holidays, allow extra time as counters can be busy.
As a general guide, one large bag and one small carry-on per person. Oversized items (bicycles, large diving equipment, etc.) or excess baggage may incur additional fees at the operator's discretion. Policies vary between boat operators — check with your specific operator if you have unusual luggage.
Yes. LipeGo is operated by Satun Tourist Guide Co., Ltd., a company registered in Thailand and licensed by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT license no. 43/00601). Our team is based at Pak Bara Pier in Satun province. We work directly with local boat operators to sell their seats online — we are not a reseller marking up prices.
